ABOUT MOLLY
Molly Rose is a 1981 Cooper 416 Pilothouse Cutter, designed by Stan Huntingford and built by Cooper Yachts, a well known and respected BC yacht builder. Besides the Cooper line, they also built the venerable Maple Leaf, Banner and a variety of custom yachts, both sail and power.
The 416 is 42 feet long, and has a 14 foot beam, providing a lot of interior space. She has a draft of 7.5 feet, and skeg hung rudder. Her sailplan consists of furling (behind mast) mainsail, furling genoa, and furling staysail. As well she has a spinnaker available. All lines lead to the cockpit, so except for spinnaker flying, it
is not necessary to leave the cockpit.
The Cooper 416 benefits from 8 generous size windows, providing a tremendous amount of light, even on dull days, making an excellent liveaboard. As well, she has excellent ventilation with 6 opening ports, and 4 cabintop hatches. For a full list of features, please see the detailed specification section.
MOORAGE (NON-LIVEABOARD) IS AVAILABLE IN RICHMOND B.C.
